patina beach house, maldives
introducing a transcendent experience to the indian ocean
The Maldives’ next generation starts here. Patina is a devotion to dimensionality and a new expression of island life.
Patina beach house is part of the fari islands with two neighbouring islands that share distinctly different energies to form a destination of deep cultural character. Here, socially and environmentally conscious travelers connect through a depth of beauty, creativity, and discovery.
In keeping with the movement, the architecture encourages interaction with nature: The long, linear wooden structures are open to the elements and cooled by swirling fans and perforated screens, creating a chiaroscuro dance of light and shadow. Custom-made furniture from Dedon and Italian designer Paola Lenti sits beneath triangular sun shades strung between towering palms.
This unique, two-storey, three-bedroom villa has a rooftop terrace and a large private 21m pool set within the lush green of an enormous tropical garden.
The largest villa offers myriad experiences within its luxurious layout. The interior space is generous, airy, and mellow with warm, natural colours. Outside, two levels of private space of different character await you. Both give you views over your verdant tropical garden to the pristine white beach, turquoise lagoon, and, as night falls, the magnetic amber glow of sunset.
